Natasha

Hi, my name is Natasha and I have worked in the Early Childhood Industry since 2016, teaching children and also lecturing for a University in Dublin, Ireland, to inspire the next generation of teachers.

Like many of the children attending Indigo,  I also started my education journey attending a Montessori school when I was four years old. I believe that this formed the basis for my future study.

I am a fully qualified Montessori Teacher holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies and a Master’s in Early Childhood Studies.

I firmly believe that early year’s education lays the foundation for a child’s life-long learning journey. I am passionate about supporting children to grow, develop and learn in a fun and meaningful way.

Our  Centre

Our centre is in a tranquil location, beside the HBF stadium. It features 3 rooms divided into the following age groups

  • Nido: 0 – 24months.

  • Pre-Montessori Room: 2 years – 3years

  • Children’s house: 3 - 5years

Each room has their own garden and designated dining areas which we view as an extension to our learning environment.

Each are is designed to boast alternative characteristics to constantly stimulate the interests of our children.

Mealtimes are an important part of the day, where positive social interaction, self-help skills and healthy eating behaviours are learned and developed. Our Educators sit with the children, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Children are given the opportunity to develop self-help skills and independence through self-serving and being part of the meal serving process.

At Montessori Mt Claremont all our healthy meals are cooked freshly each day by our Cook who is at the heart of our centre. We follow a 19-day menu which has been specifically devised to avoid unnecessary processed foods, preservatives and additives.

We aim to provide a service that is enriched with children’s personalities and cultural identity. Children’s work and creations are displayed throughout the centre to celebrating children’s contribution towards their own learning journey.
